Your Banqup will already have lots of different documents - from sales invoices and purchase invoices to receipts. But how do you hand them over to your accountant or tax advisor? With Banqup, this process is greatly simplified - no more tedious attaching of emails or time-consuming collection and hand-delivery of paper documents stored painstakingly in a shoebox.

Find out how you can use Banqup to efficiently exchange documents with your accountant or tax advisor. From the release of incoming invoices to the archiving of outgoing invoices - we'll show you how it's done!

With Banqup, you can send both invoices and receipts to your accountant automatically, digitally and in real-time. There are quite a few ways to do this - pick which suits you best:

  • Your accountant's accounting software.
  • Banqup's Document Center.
  • Automatic dispatch by email.
  • Add your accountant to your Banqup account.

Share documents directly with your accountant's accounting software

Once your accountant joins Banqup, they can seamlessly feed your digital documents, invoices, and receipts from Banqup into their existing accounting software.

This can all be done automatically and in real-time, meaning that you don't have to alert your accountant or send them any of your documents. This is an advantage for them, too! No more manual data entry or feeding information into various platforms.

Banqup connects to a range of accounting software. Get in touch with the Banqup support team to find out if your software is compatible.

Banqup's Doc Center

In the Banqup Doc Center, you can exchange not only invoices and digital receipts, but also invoice attachments, comments, contracts and all other necessary documents with your accountant in both directions. Whenever a document is added, the other party receives an email notification.

For more detailed instructions on how to share documents automatically in the Document Center, take a look at the Banqup Help Desk.

Automatic email dispatch

Although at first glance, this option may not seem like a great leap forward, it actually offers considerable advantages compared to conventional email and email attachments. Especially because this option is now automatic!

Add your accountant or tax advisor to your Banqup

If your company's financial management is handled by an accountant/tax advisor, simply add them to your Banqup account. You can find out how to do this in the Banqup Help Desk article here.

Now you know how to efficiently exchange your documents with your accountant or tax advisor using Banqup. But how exactly does this work in practice?

Find out in the following section how you can approve, send and archive incoming and outgoing invoices and copy documents to Banqup's Doc Center.

Accept incoming invoices:

  • Choose between four methods: Drag & Drop, email, mobile app or directly from Banqup.
  • Uploaded invoices appear as "To accept".
  • Select the desired invoice(s).
  • Click on "Approve" and confirm.
  • Accepted invoices are forwarded automatically.

Send/archive outgoing invoices:

  • Create invoices directly on the platform, upload already created invoices, or import them by email.
  • Select the delivery method: email or self-printing.
  • For customers in our network or in the Peppol network, network delivery is automatically suggested as an alternative method.
  • Select the delivery method and click on "Send".
  • The invoice is automatically sent to the customer and your tax consultant/accountant.
  • In your Accounts Receivable invoice list, you can see the status (e.g. Sent, Due soon, Overdue, etc.) and accounting status (e.g. "Forwarded").

Copy documents to the Doc Center:

  • Select the desired documents.
  • Click on "Copy to accountant".
  • The copy will be placed in your shared folder.
  • You keep a local copy, even if the accountant or tax advisor deletes the document.
  • Further details on the Doc Center and other instructions can be found in our online knowledge base.
